MCNA Dental is a leading dental benefit management company committed to providing high quality services to state agencies and managed care organizations for their Medicaid, Medicare, and CHIP members. We serve over 4 million children and adults with the singular mission of improving their general health by ensuring access to quality dental care.
On June 28, 2018, the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration announced its Intent to Award a Contract to MCNA Dental to administer the Florida Medicaid Dental Health Program. MCNA will be one of the dental plan administrators that will serve the children and adults enrolled throughout the state, beginning with a phased roll out on December 1, 2018.

Provider Network Enrollment
Your dental office may enroll in our Florida Medicaid network now via fax, email, or mail.
- Step 1: Download and read our Welcome Letter.
- Step 2: Download and complete one New Provider Form for each dentist.
- Step 3: Download and complete one New Location Form for each physical location.
- Step 4: Download and complete one Disclosure of Ownership Form for each physical location.
- Step 5: Download and complete our Dental Provider Agreement and 2022 Conforming Amendment.
- Step 6: Download and complete the IRS W-9 Form for each physical location.
- Step 7: Download and complete the Payment Method Selection Form for each physical location.
- Step 8: Email the completed documents to Provider_Enrollment@MCNA.net (file attachment limit of 10MB total per email) or fax them to 1-877-563-8560.

Hurricane Ian Disaster Grace Period
Following the landfall of Hurricane Ian, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) issued a major disaster declaration for multiple Florida counties affected by the storm (DR-4673-FL). MCNA has implemented a claims exception process and removed prior authorization requirements to ensure our Florida Medicaid members maintain access to the care they need.
2022 Conforming Amendment Effective 10/1/2022
The State of Florida adopted the Freedom First budget for State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2022-2023, which provides specific funding to the Agency for Health Care Administration for the sole purpose of increasing the minimum wage for employees of Medicaid providers to at least fifteen dollars ($15.00) an hour. Please see the 2022 Conforming Amendment describing new requirements. Your fee schedule will be updated to reflect the new increase for this purpose. This 2022 Confirming Amendment is effective as of October 1, 2022. Please reach out to Provider Relations at fl_pr_dept@mcna.net with any questions or concerns.
